Fulbright Teaching Assistants

Mercyhurst is very fortunate to participate each year in the Fulbright Teaching Assistant program in Spanish, Turkish and Arabic. The program brings young professionals to the U.S. to share their linguistic and cultural expertise by teaching courses, offering conversation groups, and enriching our students' understanding of the areas they are studying. Fulbright TAs for 2007-2008 include: Nesrine Baccara, from Tunisia, teaching Arabic; Firat Acikgoz, from Turkey, teaching Turkish; and Federico Parra Caballero, from Spain, teaching Spanish. The Fulbrights' office is Preston 210.
