Philosophy

The philosophy program provides intense and comprehensive preparation for graduate study in philosophy and for graduate work leading to professional degrees by developing critical thinking and rhetorical skills and by providing an important bridge within the core curriculum. The philosophy curriculum also includes elective courses tailored to the requirements of several other disciplines.
