Forensic Wildlife Investigation Concentration

Forensic Wildlife Investigators are required to investigate and analyze criminal activity involving wildlife, including poaching activities, smuggling, state and federal hunting regulations, and hunting accidents. Skills in the identification and analysis of a broad range of biological characteristics (such as bone, teeth, claw, skin/fur, blood, and ivory) of a diversity of animal species are important. This program trains students to be competent in these areas and to pursue a career in forensic wildlife investigation.
