Forensic Chemistry and Toxicology Concentration
Forensic Chemists specialize in the laboratory analysis of physical evidence associated with crime scenes including blood, DNA, body fluids, blood alcohol, poisons and illicit drugs, and other toxicological matters. Instrumentation is vital to forensic chemistry and is stressed throughout the concentration. This program prepares students for graduate studies in chemistry fields or to work in a laboratory.
