Resources

In addition to providing a high quality education for our students, Mercyhurst College provides several resources for the community at large, some at free or reduced cost. See below for brief descriptions of these services or click on the links to the left to get more detail.

Lake Erie Regional Conservancy (LERC): identification, conservation, and protection of the Lake Erie region's unique natural, cultural, and historical resources and to promote research, education and sustainable development to that end.

Mercyhurst Archeological Institute: archaeological reconnaissance, testing and data recovery projects.

Mercyhurst E-Commerce Institute: create e-commerce initiatives those within existing organizations. Services include service learning-based consulting services, seminars, certificate programs and resource coordination activities.

Mercyhurst College Speaker's Bureau: providing faculty and administration members with a broad range of expertise to speak to community and professional organizations.

The Mercy Institute: providing leadership in the Church with educational programs designed for religious education leaders, leaders of adult formation programs, youth ministers in parishes or institutional settings and Catholic school teachers and others who are seeking advancement in religious education and lay ministry.

The Civic Institute: dedicated to the social, health, civic and educational well-being of Western Pennsylvania.

Public Safety Institute: trains and educates public safety personnel including police officers, medical first responders, constables, corrections officers, probation and parole agents, firefighters, and criminal justice professionals.
