Evelyn Lincoln Institute for Ethics & Society
The Evelyn Lincoln Institute for Ethics & Society will serve the Mercyhurst University community, the city of Erie, and the surrounding Northwestern Pennsylvania region as a place where leaders and learners gather to engage in an exchange of ideas pertaining to ethical inquiry that moves toward a just and participatory society.
At its inception, the Institute will investigate three primary ethics tracks:
- Socially Responsible Business Practices (Business Ethics)
- Science and Emerging Technologies (Technology Ethics)
- Ecology and Sustainability (Environmental Ethics)
These tracks will enable us to examine a broad range of ethical issues that require ethical commitments.
