Fitness Facilities and Classes

The Mercyhurst University Recreation Center was built to provide each student the opportunity to enhance their physical well being, within the realm of their academic challenges. This recreation center was designed with the intent of meeting the recreational, fitness, and athletic needs of the students, faculty, and intercollegiate teams of Mercyhurst University.

The REC Center is open daily to those within the Mercyhurst Community. In order to meet the various fitness demands of the Mercyhurst population, students may utilize spinning, martial arts, and/or aerobic classes offered on a daily basis. Each student will have the opportunity to enhance physical performance through a spacious free weight room, newly added hammer-strength equipment and up to date cardiovascular machines.
