Freshman Housing
The freshman residential area is home to the college's nearly 675 resident freshman. Female students reside in Baldwin Hall or Warde Hall, while male students reside in McAuley Hall or Warde Hall.
The freshman residence halls are all conveniently located. The Herrmann Student Union, the Hammermill Library, Old Main, the Recreation Center, and the Hirt Academic Building are all in close proximity to the freshman residential area.
The freshman area is supervised by the Assistant Director of Residence Life for the freshman area. In addition, three graduate Hall Directors manage the day-to-day operation of the halls. Resident Assistants in each hall provide social, educational and cultural activities, and maintain the closest and most enduring contact with the residents.
All freshman are required to have a full meal plan which can be used in the Egan Dining Hall, the Laker Inn or at Lunch on the Run.
Freshman are not permitted to have vehicles on campus.
