My role is: Overseeing Freshman Area

I came to MU in: August 2010

I graduated from:

  • Baldwin-Wallace College, B.A. Business Administration
  • Kent State University, M.Ed. Higher Education Administration and Student Personnel

The best part of my job is… being able to instill a sense of community in the freshman residence halls through our amazing Resident Assistants and helping freshman find their home away from home!

My favorite memory from when I was in college is… becoming a Resident Assistant. It led me to my graduate program and my career in Student Affairs. Plus, I met some of my best friends working in Residence Life that I am still in touch with today over ten years later!

If I were a superhero I’d be… Able to fly

Something you may not know about me is… I have climbed to the top of a snow capped mountain in Alaska

The book I am reading right now is… (Working on finding something of interest so nothing at the moment)

I have a special talent that nobody knows I have, it is… Turning napkins into napkin roses

The best part of my job is…
the conversations I have with my staff and students as well as the family oriented office

My favorite memory from when I was in college is… all those nights that I stayed up late in the library with my friends; first two hours on Facebook and the next five hours actually doing work

If I could meet one person, it would be… Oprah

If I were a superhero I’d be… Superwoman so I could fly and travel the world (for free)

Something you may not know about me is… I love to paint and draw

The book I am reading right now is … The Perks of Being a Wallflower

I have a special talent that nobody knows I have, it is… I can dance well when no one is watching.
