Commuter Services

The purpose of Mercyhurst Commuter Council is to unite the commuter students in an organization/club form. This group will provide commuter students with the opportunity to organize on campus events aimed at their needs/interests and additional voice to be united and heard by the campus administration and student government. In addition, it will encourage the commuter students to relate with each other, to overcome and work through common commuter concerns, and to provide a stronger sense of belonging to the Mercyhurst community. This group is designed to promote leadership, while respecting and encouraging the values instilled upon us in the Mercyhurst University Mission Statement.
 

The Campus Involvement Center reaches out to commuter students through the publication and distribution of the Commuter Connection, an email newsletter which provides commuter students with timely information on important campus events.  The Commuter Connection newsletter is a convenient way for busy students to always be connected to campus.  The Center also maintains a dedicated portal site, Just for Commuters, which provides students and families with useful information for a full and successful Mercyhurst experience.
