Get to Know: Marissa, Social work Major


Marissa collected more than 200 pairs of shoes for charity in the "within the sole" campus shoe drive last December.

The idea came from her internship with the Coalition Pathways Lead and Seed program, a youth-led initiative to reduce alcohol, tobacco and other drug use among young people. Marissa organized all the shoes in an attention-grabbing display to help raise awareness about the consequences of drug abuse. Hear from Marissa
