I'm from Buffalo, NY and am currently a junior at Mercyhurst. I am majoring in Public Health and International Relations and minoring in Russian Studies. I'm involved in quite a lot here on campus, including Ambassadors, the Honors Program, Honors Council, Public Health Club, Phi Eta Sigma Honors Society, and Laker Leaders. I am also a Tutor and a Public Health Mentor. I hope to earn a Graduate degree in International Health and work abroad in the realm of Human Rights and possibly later move into work with aging populations.

My name is Kellie and I am a Senior Business Major from Long Island, NY. After attending Mercyhurst for four years and living 10 hours away from home, I have become very involved in the activities on campus. I am an active member of the Ambassador Club, Snowboard Club, P.U.C.K., ROTC, and MYRACLE. I also enjoy running, water skiing and traveling. Upon graduation, I hope to use my experiences to one day open and manage my own fitness center.

Hi! My names Katelyn Bailey and I am a dual Intelligence Studies and Public Health Major from Winsted, Connecticut. Being so far away from home is never a problem, because in my past three years, MU has become my home! I am involved in the ambassador program, am a Laker Leader, and am also involved in a few Intelligence clubs. I volunteer in the community through Big Brothers Big Sisters and Gliding Stars and other clubs as well. Also, I had the opportunity to study abroad in Ireland for a semester, and am lucky enough to be going to Vietnam this upcoming January. At a school like Mercyhurst, the opportunity are endless! I am a current freshman from Canton, OH, majoring in Competitive Business Intelligence, while pursuing a minor in Political Science. I love all kinds of athletics, whether it's watching my Cleveland sports teams or playing for fun. Soccer is the sport that I played throughout high school, and here at Mercyhurst I am a member of the Soccer Club.

Greetings all! I am Cariel Lewis, an island girl from Kingston, Jamaica and I love my snow globe life here in Erie, Pennsylvania. I am a senior studying Hospitality Management with a concentration in Hotel Management with hopes of being a General Manager of a major hotel in the future. At Mercyhurst I am involved in the Ambassadors Club, Student Calling, Laker Leaders, Mercyhurst International Students Organization, Residence Life, Catering, Leadership Certification Program, Habitat for Humanity and I volunteer in the community on a regular basis. College is all about making friends and long-lasting memories, suffice it to say at a school like Mercyhurst this is all possible.

I'm currently a sophomore from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, majoring in Communications with a double concentration in Strategic Communication and Visual Communication. I love music, reading, writing, playing soccer, and horseback riding.
I am a second-year member of Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) and the current Vice President of Public Relations for the club. I have participated in a regional PRSSA conference at Penn State University and a national PRSSA conference in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I also have experience writing articles for the Merciad and working events such as the Brig Niagara Homecoming Party. I also worked as a marketing intern in summer 2013 for Glade Run Lutheran Services, a nonprofit organization in Zelienople, Pennsylvania.

I plan on attending graduate school to become a genetic counselor after my time at Mercyhurst. I am currently the secretary of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) club, a member of Tri-Beta Biology Honor Society, Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society, a Laker Leader, and a contributing writer to the Merciad. I will be studying abroad in Guyana in through Mercyhurst. Becoming involved around campus is fun and easy to do!

Chris is a senior Communication major from Cleveland, OH. He is involved with many clubs and organizations on campus, including Mercyhurst Student Government, the Ambassador Club, Theatre Appreciation Club, Outdoor Adventure Club and the Mercyhurst TOMS Campus Club. When not in the classroom or at a club meeting, Chris can usually be found performing in one of the school's theatre productions! Jenna Dascanio is currently in her fifth year at Mercyhurst University. She started her journey at the ‘Hurst as an undergraduate majoring in Business Marketing with a minor in Strategic Communication. She has continued to earn her masters in Organizational Leadership with a concentration in Higher Education at MU. In addition to her coursework, Jenna is a Hall Director in Mercyhurst’s Residence Life & Student Conduct Office. Jenna also holds a part-time position in the Student Life Office working on special projects. As a Laker alum and graduate student, Jenna enjoys learning about all opportunities available in the university community.

My name is Maria Nemeth. I am from Cleveland, Ohio and I am a Senior Hospitality and Management Major. I have had such a great time a Mercyhurst especially making friends in all my different activities. I am President of Mercyhurst Figure Skating Club, participate in MYRACLE, Campus Ministry, Carpe Diem Retreat, PCAM/HMA for Hospitality, Leadership Certification Program, and a Coach at Gliding Stars. I enjoy ice skating, going to Zumba, planning different events, and meeting new people.
