Sustainability Studies Major

As a sustainability major, Mercyhurst students have the opportunity to take courses in a dozen different academic disciplines. However sustainability majors structure their degree, they will confront the immense environmental challenges that increasingly shape our world.
Mercyhurst sustainability majors are challenged to develop real-world solutions to issues involving energy, climate change, land use and food production, sustainable economic development, green building design, and more. Mercyhurst's program is based on the Erie campus, but students are also engaged in experiential learning projects and activities at the Girard and North East campuses.
An overall minimum GPA of 2.5 is required for Mercyhurst students to graduate with a degree in sustainability studies.
