Accelerated Podiatry

Mercyhurst University and the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine have developed an affiliation agreement that pledges our commitment to the training of future physicians by giving students the opportunity to complete their podiatric education in two phases. Phase I consists of three years of undergraduate and biology or natural science education at Mercyhurst University. Phase II consists of three additional years of study at Kent State University, after which students may qualify to receive the degree of Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. In consultation with an advisor, a program of study that follows the guidelines stipulated in the plan of agreement will be created.

For more information regarding this affiliation or to apply to the program, please contact the Director of Pre-Health Programs, Dr. Michael Elnitsky, at melnitsky@mercyhurst.edu.
