Forensic Anthropology

Forensic Anthropologists are often called upon to comprehensively analyze human skeletal remains from a variety of crime scenes, ranging from surface scatters to mass fatalities. The skills of physical anthropology and archaeology are paramount to the training of competent forensic anthropologists. Our undergraduate program prepares students for graduate studies in both physical and forensic anthropology.

The goal of the undergraduate concentration in Forensic Anthropology is to prepare students for

1. A graduate career in Forensic Anthropology and/or Biological & Physical Anthropology, or
2. A career in other science related fields.

In addition to the required departmental core classes the following courses are specifically required for the concentration in Forensic Anthropology.
