The D’Angelo Department of Music offers performances through its Faculty Recital Series, the Roche Guest Artist Series, student Senior Recitals, and our large ensembles such as the Concert Choir, directed by Dr. Christopher Petit; the Wind Ensemble and the Jazz Ensemble, both conducted by Dr. Scott Meier; and the Mercyhurst Civic Orchestra, conducted by Dr. Gary Viebranz, featuring D’Angelo students and advanced community musicians. In addition, many chamber groups—including brass, saxophone, clarinet, flute, voice, piano, and strings—perform in our Small Ensembles Concert held each semester.

*Concert ticket prices are as follows: $8.50 for adults, and $5 for Mercyhurst students, employees, and 12 and under. Each ticket purchase is subject to a $1.50 service fee.

  • Roche Guest Artists Series

    This season celebrates more than three decades of the Roche Guest Artist Series, made possible through the generosity of the Terry and Margaret M. Roche Family. Since its founding in 1988, the Roche Guest Artist Series has presented in our exceptional performance space, the Dr. Barrett and Catherine Walker Recital Hall, providing the greater Erie community free access to a unique mix of artists performing contemporary, jazz, renaissance, baroque, renaissance, and world music.
