Sustainability is an evolving paradigm that requires an understanding of the interconnections and interdependency among ecological, economic and social systems. With sustainability practices becoming more significant throughout several industries, education in sustainability is crucial for future generations. Personal responsibility, key leadership skills and access to resources are essential for meeting the sustainability challenges that are currently confronting the world.

The Master of Science degree in Organizational Leadership (OL) with a concentration in sustainability is a 33-credit program that equips students with the theoretical knowledge, analytical skills and communication competencies to create and implement innovative solutions for sustainability initiatives within organizations. Recognizing an opportunity and obligation to create a more sustainable world, the concentration emphasizes experiential learning, research with faculty, corporate and community service, and leadership development.

Designed to meet the needs and schedules of working students, the program can be completed in two years. Courses are offered in the evenings to accommodate the working professional. Click here for a complete list of the sustainability course descriptions.
