Admissions Process

Graduate Degrees

In addition to the Graduate Application, all applicants to Mercyhurst University must submit the following information:

1. All Official Transcripts from accredited higher education institutions (transcripts from international universities must be evaluated by World Education Services; please use “course-by-course report”).

2. A Resume or Curriculum Vitae (may be emailed to grad@mercyhurst.edu)

3. An essay of 300-500 words outlining the students personal, educational and professional goals (may be emailed to grad@mercyhurst.edu)

4. Three letters of recommendation (may be emailed to grad@mercyhurst.edu). Download recommendation form here.

5. An official score report from the Graduate Record Exam (GRE), Miller Analogies Test (MAT), GMAT, or the Praxis I is required.

Graduate Certificates

1. Submit your Graduate Application online or through mail (an application fee of $35 is required for a paper version of the graduate application).
