Student Information

Since the graduate program’s inception in 2001, numerous students have walked through the doors of the Department of Applied Forensic Sciences. Due to our unique student selection criteria, our program has benefited from the variety of students we have accepted. We have had the pleasure of working with students with a variety of experience in different areas (including fire investigations and veterinary medicine), with different backgrounds (including degrees in anthropology, biology, forensic science and chemistry), and coming from different areas of the world (including Argentina, Mexico and Canada). This variety not only makes our student body highly unique but also affords the advantage of contributions from different fields and different schools of thought for a more holistic educational experience.
