Nonprofit Management

The graduate certificate in nonprofit management is a 12-credit program designed to meet the unique leadership needs of the nonprofit sector. The program is open to individuals currently working in, or wishing to enter, any type of nonprofit organization, including human services, cultural, educational, community development, religious and other. The curriculum helps to develop skills in such areas as organizational leadership, recruitment and management of volunteers, marketing and public relations, and financial management.

The certificate program accommodates the schedules of working students through three Web-based courses in nonprofit management and one classroom-based course in leadership theory and practice. Courses may be completed in any sequence through either part-time or full-time study. Certificate credits can be applied toward the Master of Science degree in Organizational Leadership.
