Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy

Music Therapy is an allied health profession as well as a field of research. Music therapists use their skills to improve the health of their clients’ physical and/or mental functioning as well as their quality of life. Degree students take classes in, music, psychology, clinical foundations, music therapy, general education, and liberal arts. This degree is approved by NASM (National Association of Schools of Music) and AMTA (American Music Therapy Association)

Candidates completing the 4 year curriculum followed by a 6-month internship will be eligible to sit for the exam for the Music Therapist Certification Board (MT-BC)
