Dr. Harris earned his Ph.D. in constructive theology from the University of Chicago, a master’s of divinity in parish ministry from the Lutheran School of Theology in Chicago, and a bachelor’s degree in religious education from Susquehanna University. Before coming to MNE, Dr. Harris taught at the Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary in Columbia, S.C., and served on the faculty and as campus chaplain at Thiel College. He also served as an adjunct faculty member in the religious studies department at Allegheny College. He has been an ordained a Lutheran pastor for more than 20 years and has served three parishes. He now engages in extensive pulpit supply responsibilities in and around Erie County.
