Gerard Tobin

Dr. Tobin is a licensed psychologist.  Since coming to Mercyhurst in 1998, he has served as the Director of the Counseling Center (1998-2006) and as Vice President for Student Life (2006-2013). In 2013 Dr. Tobin joined the psychology department and assumed responsibility for coordinating and overseeing students’ clinical experiences.  His interests are in the areas of counseling psychology and insight oriented practices that can assist college aged students in being their best selves.  His wife, Michelle, is a licensed clinical social worker in the University Counseling Center.
