Elizabeth Darling

Ms. Darling has worked with USA Gymnastics for nine years, traveling extensively with the national gymnastics team to provide physical therapy and athletic training services. Her work for gymnasts and other athletes has taken Ms. Darling to competitions all over the globe, including world championships in Hungary, Greece, Azerbaijan, Japan and South Africa and the Pan Am Games in Brazil. She has also worked with USA Diving.  In 2008, Ms. Darling was the diving team’s physical therapist at the Olympic Games in Beijing as one of only 30 handpicked U.S. athletic trainers.  Outside athletics, Elizabeth has provided medical coverage for Chicago\'s Joffrey Ballet, Hubbard Street, River North and Ballet Chicago in addition to productions of the Broadway shows Wicked, Movin’ Out, The Color Purple and The Lion King. She has also developed screening programs to help breast cancer survivors return to active, productive lifestyles. Ms. Darling is a graduate of Marquette University, and accepted the honor of most distinguished young alumna in 2010. She completed her doctorate in physical therapy in 2009 and currently heads Keystone Rehabilitation Systems – Erie South in Erie, PA.
