Brad Gleason has over 23-years’ experience in managing government, state, and local funds in the disciplines of housing development & management, public safety (911, fire, law enforcement, emergency response) and in intelligence. Has yielded over 32 million dollars in grant funding with agencies such as: the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, U. S Department of Justice, U. S. Department of Homeland Security, U. S. Department of Commerce, and various state programs and private foundations. Brad holds an M. S. in Organizational Leadership from Mercyhurst University and has a B.S. in Business Management from Gannon University. CIRAT’s contracting and grant writing capacity has ranged from 14 million dollar projects to $1,500.00 projects with local, state, national and global partners . Brad’s research interests are in non-profit 501 (c) 3’s and the impact of L3Cs, B Corporations and Flex Corporation on their future. Brad administers the Washington/Baltimore High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) program at Mercyhurst University for the past four years. He has been a team member in the three largest research projects in the Department’s history and intends to translate this experience into future contract and research opportunities for the Institute for Intelligence students, alumni, and faculty.
