Dr. Zhang's research interests focuses on Mobile Health, in which health services are carried out through collaborations among massive number of smart phones. My research interests include a wide variety of topics in the intersection of Wireless Sensor Networks, Machine Learning, and Distributed Systems to develop robust and reliable applications. In particular,
- Queueing Analysis in Wireless Sensor Networks,
- Target Counting and Positioning in Wireless Sensor Networks,
- Traffic Prediction and Navigation in Vehicle Networks,
- Smart Healthcare via Mobile Devices.
She has published articles recently in: International Journal of Sensor Networks, Transactions on Wireless Communications, Personal and Ubiquitous Computing, and Transactions on Parallel and Distributed Systems.
She is planning on leading the computer side of the department in exciting new directions.
