MCAP poll: Pennsylvania women sticking with Obama
In a head-to-head match-up between Barack Obama and Mitt Romney in the 2012 presidential election, female voters in Pennsylvania prefer Obama even though a solid majority say the U.S. is headed in the wrong direction, according to a new poll released today by the Mercyhurst Center for Applied Politics (MCAP).

Mercyhurst's JoEllen Marsh tells her story in 'Donor Unknown'
JoEllen Marsh, a 21-year-old intelligence studies major, grew up in Lander, Pa., with two mothers. Her father was an anonymous sperm donor. It is the story of her search for him that unfolds in the documentary, “Donor Unknown,” which will be screened at 2:15 and 7:15 p.m. in the Mary D’Angelo Performing Arts Center on Wednesday, Feb. 8. Marsh will take questions from the audience at both screenings.
